When you start an analysis, the submitted URL is sent to our server-side fetching service. That service contacts the target website to retrieve its public page and relevant text files. Fonts or other resources may be loaded from external providers, which can receive network request information. Reports of public pages, including their URL, metadata, excerpts and scores, are kept on our server for 30 days. Anyone with the report link can view it. A signed random guest cookie identifies this browser for the five-check allowance; the server stores a counter. Browser history, checklist ticks and optional probe answers use localStorage until cleared. PDF exports are generated in your browser; PDF libraries load from jsDelivr. Optional Perplexity search uses your own key: this server relays the key and question to Perplexity only for the request and does not save the key. Search CSV files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded. Projects, notes, drafts and citation history are saved locally. Public URL analyses are processed on our server. For managed AI reports, your brand, questions, language and market are sent to Bright Data and the selected AI platforms. Report jobs are private to the visitor browser and retained for seven days; exported and locally saved data may remain on your device.
